Good Evening Brownstone Family,
This Wacky Wednesday's theme is "Sporty Scholars!"
Wear your favorite team's gear or dress like an athlete. All community members are encouraged to participate.
I can't wait to see all of our Sporty Scholars, Wednesday April 8th!
All the best,
Good Evening Brooklyn Brownstone School Community,
Please see the attached letter from NYC School Chancellor Carranza regarding the decision to CANCEL SPRING RECESS and observed religious holidays. On April 9-10 and April 13-17 school will be in session through remote learning. Additionally, schools will not be opening on April 20th as originally communicated March 16th.
If you have any questions, please message me and I will do my best to answer them. I will provide more information regarding Brooklyn Brownstone School's plan for next week and other items including work load and live virtual teaching in my video message Monday morning.
Good Evening Brooklyn Brownstone Family,
I hope you and your families are doing well. If you are in need of any support please reach out. We are happy to help in any way possible.
Today I would like to share another message from our Superintendent, Dr. Yolanda Martin. Though you may not know her or the District 16 team, I can assure you that they have been incredibly supportive. The D16 team is working hard to ensure that all of our schools are providing quality distance learning experiences and supporting families in any way possible.
Please see the attached letter.
Additionally, many of you have probably heard some news regarding Spring Break. I will be providing additional information tomorrow. Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to direct you to our school website. We are updating the content daily and there are many resources available there: www.brooklynbrownstoneschool.com
We take our Wacky Wednesdays very seriously and we hope you do too! Be sure to dress in your wackiest outfit and get ready to post your best jokes, riddles, and puns!
See you later!
